Hobbies
My first and most prioritized hobby is school. It sounds cheese,
but I love to learn. Although I don’t like learning about all the subjects I
have to take, the rewards at the end are awesome. College has been such a great
experience so far, pertaining to education of course! I know this is a hobby I
will pursue even after I receive by Bachelors or Master degree.
My second hobby is water polo. I have only been playing for 3
years now, but I love it. Water polo is a great way to meet friends, stay in
shape, and be involved in a sport. Water polo is also a great way to relieve
work and school stress. Although this sport can be aggressive and hard, it is
very rewarding. I have found that there are always new tricks and moves to learn
in water polo, giving me new challenges all the time.
My third hobby is being active, and being outdoors. I have been a
swimmer for 8 years now. I have been snowboarding for 3 years and I also love to camp and hike. NAU is a great place to
be able to participate in these activities. I have recently become involved in
the Parks and Recreation Club. This club has given me the opportunity to meet
people that have the same hobbies and interests as me. I have been able to go on
hikes and camping through this club.
