This webpage is just a little sampler of my work in forestry. I am a 2006 graduate of the Forestry Program at Northern Arizona University, and am currently continuing my forestry education by pursuing a Master's of Forestry at NAU. My master's project involves creating a Firewise management plan for the community of Groom Creek, outside of Prescott, AZ. For more info on what Firewise is please follow the link below.
I have received a Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) position with the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest in Baker City, OR (Region 6). I will be working there this summer, and learning about fire management, especially pre-suppression fuel management. Upon graduation I will begin my full-time career with this National Forest.
