The purpose of Northern Arizona Art History Society is to promote interest in the scholarship of art history and to provide complementary means of pursuing those studies. We hope to increase awareness of the diversity and magnificence of the world of art and the scholarship that continuously invests in our understanding of the visual cultures of the past and the present.

    Our objective is to play an increasingly greater part in the local community as well as the academic sphere of our university.

   NAAHS holds various fundraising projects to sponsor art history related activities such as trips to galleries and museum to view exhibitions, as well as to fund lectures by scholars from other universities.

    We offer tutoring to incoming art history majors and our intellectual database for receiving input on projects and papers. It is a great place to seek advice and share opinions with students who share similar interests and passions.
